{"id":5366,"date":"2022-11-24T10:56:05","date_gmt":"2022-11-24T09:56:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cosmeticsinmind.com\/?p=5366"},"modified":"2022-12-14T10:59:33","modified_gmt":"2022-12-14T09:59:33","slug":"titanium-dioxide-carcinogenic-classification","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cosmeticsinmind.com\/en\/titanium-dioxide-carcinogenic-classification\/","title":{"rendered":"Titanium Dioxide \u2013 Carcinogenic Classification"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5>Titanium Dioxide, classification annulled in the Court of Justice of the European Union in relation to Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020\/2017.<\/h5>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Court annuls the aforementioned Commission Delegated Regulation of 2019 as regards the harmonized classification and labeling of Titanium Dioxide as an inhalation carcinogen in certain powder forms.<\/p>\n<p>This Delegated Regulation modifies, for the purposes of its adaptation to technical and scientific progress, Regulation (EC) No. 1272\/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council, on the classification, labeling and packaging of substances and mixtures, and corrects said Regulation .<\/p>\n<p>The Court notes that the Commission made a manifest error in its assessment of the reliability and acceptability of the study on which the classification was based.
